The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association – popularly known as AIPMA – Was founded by Industry visionaries 70 years ago making it the old & the largest Apex Body of the Plastic Industry in India, which has expanded and progressed by leaps and bounds in all fields of Plastics having Head Office in most prestigious, centrally located commercial localities in Mumbai, and Regional Offices in Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
The Baton of Association was lead and passed on by the Past Presidents and Industry Doyens i.e. Shri I.V. Ruia, Shri. D.B. Garware, Shri. Chandrakant B. Garware, Shri. Ambalal Khilachand, Shri. R.V. Turakia, Shri. Vadilal Shah, Shri Shadilal Jain, Shri Dilip Piramal, Shri M. P. Taparia, etc

Being a Legendry Plastics Association, it is recognised by the Chemical & Fertilizers Ministry, Department of Petrochemicals, Government of India, and has representation, at various Union & State Government Ministries to voice concerns and difficulties faced by the Industry, Budgetary structure recommendations, monitor uniformity in government regulations on Plastics Industry compared to other Industries and be part and parcel with the above Parent Ministry to chalk out strategies and policies for Plastics Industry.
